Girl in The Red Dress

I remember wearing this dress during my last night in Paris this May. Exploring the city of light, drinking last hot chocolate in one of the cafeterias.
Now wearing it with shearling collar jacket, opaque black tights and lacquer high heels.
It's so unreal that we still don't have any snow in Poland!

J'adore

Just something casual. During the summer I was not into black black at all, so now I really enjoy wearing it. Knee high boots, my favourite bag and the silver bracelet and a splash of my favourite perfume. Anyway what's your favourite scent? It's almost Christmas and it always reminds me of perfumeries full of people, choosing some presents for their beloved.
The last photo shows me holding my favourite cupcake with raspberry jam inside. You have to try it- it's delicious.

Coś zupełnie na luzie. Podczas lata nie nosiłam czerni prawie wcale, więc teraz sprawia mi to wielką przyjemność. Czarne kozaki do kolan, moja ulubiona już torebka, srebrna bransoletka, a wszystko wykończone odrobiną ulubionych perfum. Jaki jest wasz ulubiony zapach? Już prawie Święta, a one zawsze przypominają mi o perfumeriach pełnych ludzi, wybierających prezent dla swoich ukochanych, rodziny.
Na ostatnim zdjęciu trzymam jedną z moich ulubionych babeczek z malinowym dżemem w środku. Musicie ich spróbować- są przepyszne.

Black and White

Well it's not so warm in Poland now, so after taking these few picures I ran to a small cafeteria to warm myself up with a hot cup of my favourite green tea with jasmine petals. I met there a 3 years old boy, playing with crayons. He came to me, gave me one crayon as a present and kept smiling and staring at me. When his parents took him, he started crying- I guess this young gentleman was a fan of red lips;)
This dress reminded me of Chanel aesthetics with its black&white ensembles. I have some pictures in my head of mademoiselle Coco, who loved dressing up in these colors.

Po zrobieniu tych kilku zdjęć, pobiegłam do małej kawiarenki, żeby się rozgrzać, popijajać moją ulubioną zieloną herbatę z jaśminem. Spotkałam tam małego, 3-letniego chłopczyka, bawiącego się kredkami. Przybiegł do mnie, dał mi jedną kredkę w prezencie i uśmiechał się, cały czas się na mnie patrząc. Kiedy rodzice chcieli już go zabrać do domu, zaczął płakać- chyba ten mały dżentelmen był fanem czerwonej szminki na ustach;)
Ta sukienka przypomina mi o estetyce, uwielbianą przez Chanel- ze swoimi czarno-białymi projektami. W głowie mam zdjęcia mademoiselle Coco, która lubiła łączyć ze sobą te kolory.

Favourite Place To Be In

This time a post about one of my favourite place to be in- restaurant, looking like American Diner in 40's and 50's. It's not about the food they are serving there, but about the atmosphere. They play only old music and show only old tv adverts. It's nice to be there from time to time, especially that I'm in love with these times. How do you like it?

Tym razem mały post o jednym z moich ulubionych miejsc- restauracji Pink Flamingo w Warszawie, która wygląda jak amerykański Dinner z lat 40'tych i 50'tych. Nie chodzi tu o żadne specialne jedzienie, które tam serwują, bo te jest typowo amerykańskie. Uwielbiam jednak atmosferę tam panującą. Grają tam starą muzykę i pokazują w telewizorze stare, telewizyjne reklamy. Miło tam czasem zajrzeć, szczególnie, że uwielbiam tamte czasy. Jak wam się podoba?

This autumn I've been wearing a lot this leather shearling coat jacket. Inspired by pilot's jackets from the 40's- I feel like it makes any basics looking good.. Happy that autumn is still warm. Added a touch of rouge in a color of wine.

Tej jesieni często zakładam skórzaną kurtkę z kożuszkiem. Zainspirowana kurtkami pilotów z lat 40'tych- czuję, że fajnie uzupełnia każde ubranie. Dobrze, że jesień jest jeszcze ciepła.
Całość wykończona odrobiną szminki na ustach w kolorze wina.

Colorful Leaves With Retro Feeling

Ah, it was such a beautiful day outside that I could resist to take a few photos on my blog, while I was visiting my home town. Most of the times I'm over-packing, but not this time. I took only a few things that I like most at the moment. But we all know that we always want to wear things, that we didn't bring with us;)!
I thought that this pretty background, didn't need a competition in a colorful ensemble, so I wore something neutral. Yes, yes, I'm obsessed with striped things, just like most of retro style lovers.
Most of the times, I like to wear red lipstick only in the evenings, but I made an exception.

W tak piękny dzień, nie mogłam się powstrzymać, by nie zrobić kilka zdjęć na bloga, podczas odwiedzin rodzinnego miasta. Zwykle na podróże zabieram ze sobą za dużo rzaczy, ale nie tym razem. Wzięłam tylko kilka rzeczy, które obecnie najbardziej lubię. No i miałam problem- wiadomo, że zawsze chcemy założyć na siebie to, czego ze sobą nie wzieliśmy;)!
Pomyślałam, że to piękne jesienne tło, w postaci kolorowych liści, nie potrzebuje konkurencji w postaci kolorowego ubioru, więc wolałam ubrać coś neutralnego. Tak, tak, uwielbiam paski, chyba jak większość ludzi lubiących mieszać styl retro ze stylem bardziej nowoczesnym.
Przeważnie czerwonej szminki używam tylko wieczorami, ale tym razem zrobiłam mały wyjątek.
